Terms of use
Short and plain, like the lessons. What this site is, how our material may be used, and what it is not a substitute for.

1. What this site is
clariteon.ai is the website of Clariteon Academy, a free educational video channel. It describes the channel and links to lessons hosted on YouTube. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.
2. The lessons
Lessons are free to watch and we intend to keep them that way. There is no account, no purchase and no subscription on this site. We may add, change, correct or remove a lesson at any time — usually because we found something wrong with it, in which case the correction is noted on the video.
Nothing here is a certification, a qualification or a credential, and watching a lesson does not enrol you in anything. Where we cover a certification exam, we are explaining the subject, not acting for or endorsed by the body that issues it.
3. Accuracy, and what these lessons are not
Each lesson is researched, fact-checked against sources and reviewed by a person before publication. We still get things wrong sometimes, and technical subjects change underneath us. Lessons are provided for general education on an "as is" basis, with no warranty that they are complete, current or fit for a particular purpose.
They are not professional advice. Do not rely on a short lesson alone for a decision with real consequences — a production deployment, a security configuration, a contract, a medical or financial choice. Check the vendor's own documentation and, where it matters, ask a qualified professional.
If you spot an error, please tell us at hello@clariteon.ai. We would rather fix it.
4. Synthetic presenters and narration
Our lessons use synthetic presenters and synthetic voices, and are labelled as containing altered or synthetic content on YouTube. The faces on screen are generated and the voices are not recordings of a human speaker. The teaching itself — what a lesson covers and how it is explained — is reviewed by a person. See the presenters and how a lesson is made.
5. Our content, and using it
The lessons, scripts, visuals, voices, this site's text and design, and the Clariteon Academy name, wordmark and gem mark are our property or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law.
You may, without asking us:
- watch, share and link to our lessons and pages;
- embed a lesson using YouTube's own embed, on the terms YouTube sets;
- quote a short passage with attribution to Clariteon Academy and a link back.
Please do not, without our written permission:
- re-upload, mirror or redistribute our videos, in whole or in part, on any platform;
- remove or obscure our watermark or branding, or present our material as your own;
- use our name, wordmark or gem mark in a way that suggests we endorse or are affiliated with you;
- use our lessons or their transcripts to train machine-learning models.
Third-party names and marks that appear in lessons (for example AWS, Kubernetes or PMP) belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the subject being taught.
6. YouTube and other third parties
Lessons are hosted on YouTube, and watching one means using Google's service under the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We do not control YouTube, its recommendations or any advertising it shows.
Where a lesson or page links to documentation or other outside material, that is for your convenience. We do not control it and are not responsible for its content.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Clariteon Academy is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, data or opportunity, arising from your use of this site or our lessons. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Colorado, without affecting any consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
